ONCE UPON A TIME...
Growing up around natural storytellers, there's nothing Felicia loves more than a good story. Getting to document the stories swirling around her for a living fills her with gratitude.
Felicia's byline has been seen in a number of national publications, including AV Club, BuzzFeed, IndieWire, Insider, Playbill, Teen Vogue, and Time Out New York. Her writing explores a variety of topics, like theatre, television and film, pop culture, and identity.
She has profiled dozens actors and creatives across performing arts disciplines, like Broad City’s Ilana Glazer, Orange is the New Black star Danielle Brooks, six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald, Oscar winner Tarrell Alvin McCraney, and pop singer Betty Who.
Her in-depth features include “The Oral History of The Scottsboro Boys” for Playbill, and “What it’s like to be a COVID compliance officer in a Broadway theater” for Time Out New York.
She also has written personal essays, including “Being Bullied Taught Me How To Love My Hair” for Teen Vogue, “Navigating My Biracial, Bisexual Identities Is A Lot Like Physics” for Autostraddle, and “I Grew Up Knowing Barbie Was a Feminist Thanks to My Mom” for Insider.
